That Luang means ‘Great Tower’ (or to give its full title ‘Great Sacred Stupa’ ) in the Lao language. It is the country’s national symbol and the most important Buddhist religious monument. The festival is held over a period of between three to seven days.
Bun That Luang 2017 was held from 27th October to 4th November and activities began with the Wax Castle Procession at Wat Si Meuang and by 3rd November ended with a procession around the Great Stupa. It attracted thousands of monks, pilgrims, laypersons, and general members of the public from all over the country. In order to celebrate this special occasion, FlexOffice attended the festival.
Several activities were organised by FlexOffice such The Lucky Wheel - with the giving away of attractive prizes, the free-giving away of pens, various painting activities, colouring statues, and with kids happily indulging in their own creations with a wide range of FlexOffice and Colokit art materials.
By attending Bun That Luang this year, FlexOffice were able to showcase newly developed FlexOffice and Colokit products to a highly enthusiastic and receptive audience. FlexOffice would like to thank the Laotian public for their extremely warm reception and look forward to attending next year.
